Our Next Comedy Night - Tuesday 6th March 2018

See details of acts performing below.

Dan Nightingale

Fresh out of University in the early Noughties, Dan Nightingale started working behind the bar in a local comedy club and already the seeds for his future career were sown. He took to the stage for the first time only a few months later and found himself catapulted to the forefront of the comedy scene.

Dan is now one of the best performers found on the comedy circuit. Mixing fiendishly accurate observation with energetic characterisations and killer punch lines his comedy is original, playful, intelligent, exciting and sometimes ridiculous, but always hilarious.

Dan recently appeared in 'John Bishops Only Joking' on Sky. A highly respected and experienced host / headline act, he is constantly in demand from the circuits most prestigious clubs and comedy nights. Like the jewel in a comedic crown, Nightingale adds a touch of class to any line-up.

“Nightingale can make just about anything funny. He’s lightning-quick” -Time Out

“Magnetic, entertaining and wonderfully funny”- Three Weeks

“Pretty damn funny”- Fest

Brennan Reece

Best Newcomer (nominee), Edinburgh Comedy Festival 2016
English Comedian of the Year 2015
Best Show (nominee), Fringe World Australia

Brennan Reece is a bright young comic from Manchester. His energetic and often awkward approach to life is captured in his fast paced, vividly painted, humorous stories. Despite him being a relative newcomer to the circuit his reputation is fast becoming that of a comic to look out for, and he has recently returned from performing at various festivals in Australia, following a run of gigs as part of the prestigious Pleasance Reserve at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Brennan has appeared on BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and at the prestigious Old Vic Theatre, London. He was named English Comedian of the Year in 2015, whilst he also was a winner on Sky One's Don't Stop Me Now. Elsewhere, he won the Beat The Frog World Series in 2010, was named Preston Comedian of the Year in 2011, and has also made the final of several other comedy competitions.

“His baby faced rudeness is delightfully wrong”- The Journal

Paul 'Silky' White

Silky has been a full time comedian since 1997. He did his first gig in 1994, and his fourth gig (the final of the 1995 BBC New Comedy Awards alongside Lee Mack, Daniel Kitson and Julian Barratt) was shown on BBC1’s Stand-Up Show. Other awards he has failed to win include the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year (prize-winning runner-up 2000), the Liverpool Echo Arts and Entertainment Award (the only person to be nominated twice: always the sodding bridesmaid).

Silky has performed internationally, including gigs in China, the Philippines, the Gulf, Singapore, the US, the Melbourne Comedy Festival, and all over Europe, including at the Glastonbury Festival, where no-one lobbed bottles of wee, much to his relief. He performed at the 2004 God’s Kitchen Global Gathering, the 2005 Big Bang at Santa Pod, and in the houseband for the Kilkenny Festival. Silky is also a regular at the Edinburgh Fringe, where he plays to full houses every year at The Stand Comedy Club.

“Always brilliant”- Metro

This show will also feature a newer act in the middle.

“Comedy Night is a Must”

TripAdvisor Review

"We try and go each month with friends. It’s a great night out. There are usually 3 comics on… I would highly recommend it. Good venue and they even lay on a few snacks."
